Τον βασιλικό πολτό με οδοντογλυφίδα συνήθως, δηλ. βουτάς μια οδοντογλυφίδα στο βαζάκι και ό,τι πάρει (δεν πρέπει να τρως μεγάλη ποσότητα). Τη γύρη είτε την τρως απευθείας από το κουταλάκι (μια μύτη) είτε την διαλύεις σε ενα ποτήρι χυμό. Μπορεί να τρώγεται κι αλλιώς βέβαια, απλά εγώ αυτούς τους τρόπους ξέρω. Η γύρη θέλει ψυγείο ή κατάψυξη.
